Amy has a perfect life: a happy marriage, children and a successful career. But is it a guarantee of happiness if a poor woman is in constant tension? Amy finds allies among the mothers at school, who are also unhappy with the strict and difficult duties invented by the head of the parent council, Gwendolyn. Read more In April 2015, it became known that Scott Moore and John Lucas are engaged in a new comedy project, where the main roles will be performed by women. Judd Apatow ("Five Year Engagement") acted as a producer of the film "Very Bad Moms". Leslie Mann was supposed to play the main role. Later, Apatow and Mann left the project, the producers were Bill Block ("Elysium", "Fury", "Rock in the East"), Suzanne Todd ("Hudson's Hawk", "Loaded Gun") and Mark Kamine ("American Fraud"). The main roles in the comedy went to Miley Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn. Later, Christina Applegate, Jada Pinkett Smith, Una Lawrence, Annie Mumolo and others joined the cast. Kunis and Bell have already played together in Nicholas Stoller's comedy In Flight. Initially, the project "Very Bad Moms" was handled by Paramount Pictures. After Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann left, the film went to Stx Entertainment. The music for the film by Scott Moore and John Lucas was composed by Christopher Lennertz. The composer has such works as "Intolerable Bosses", "Mad Patrol", "Agent Carter", "Lady Boss" and others. Filming of the comedy "Very Bad Moms" began in January 2016 in New Orleans and continued until March.
