The series tells the story of the life of the sheriff's family after the "zombie" epidemic of apocalyptic proportions swept the globe. Sheriff Rick Grime travels with his family and a small group of survivors in search of a safe place to live. But the constant fear of death brings heavy losses every day, forcing the heroes to feel the depths of human cruelty.
