This tape will tell about the consequences of the explosion of the Deepwater Horizon oil platform, which occurred on April 20, 2010 in the Gulf of Mexico, 80 kilometers from the coast of Louisiana, and was the cause of the second largest environmental disaster in the history of the United States. The film was directed by Peter Berg, who previously worked on such films as "Survivor", "Hancock", "Sea Battle". For the latter, the director was nominated for the "Golden Raspberry" anti-award for "Worst Director". The film was first shown at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 13, 2016. It is also planned to be shown at the festival in Zurich on September 28 of the same year. The film will be released worldwide on September 29, 2016.
