A young German couple in love - stewardess Lena and journalist Daniel - find themselves at the epicenter of a bloody military coup in Chile. Daniel is arrested, subjected to unimaginable torture by the secret police and sent to the "Dignidad" colony - a German settlement that pretends to be a charitable society, but in fact is practically a concentration camp. Lena also goes there - voluntarily, under the guise of a nun - to save her lover. It's easy to get to Dignidad, but there's no going back...
