Tom Brand (Kevin Spacey) is a successful businessman who devotes almost all his time to work and career. This side of life is separated from his personal one, his wife Lara (Jennifer Garner) and daughter Rebecca. At the last moment, Tom snaps that he didn't buy his adorable little girl a birthday present. He comes to a strange pet store where he buys a cat. On the way home, Brand gets into a terrible accident, which transfers his mind into the body of an animal.
