Read more In June 2014, it became known that Shane Black will shoot the conspiracy thriller "Cool Guys", with Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling in the lead roles, as well as producer Joel Silver ("The Nutcracker", "The Matrix", "Rock and Roll"). Margaret Qualley, Angur Rice and Matt Bomer joined the project in September. In the following months, the cast was replenished with Keith David, Bo Nappo, Kim Basinger, Ty Simpkins, Jack Kilmer, and others. The film was originally supposed to be a series, but the pilot series was not successful. For Kim Basinger and Russell Crowe, this is the second joint project almost ten years after "Secrets of Los Angeles". After "Iron Man 3" and "Kiss of the Air", Shane Black returns to his favorite genre in "Cool Guys" - a buddy movie based on the cooperation of two different characters who are obliged to work together despite their animosity. From his pen came the scripts of such classics as "Lethal Weapon" with Mel Gibson, "The Last Boy Scout" with Bruce Willis, "The Last Movie Hero" with Arnold Schwarzenegger and "Long Kiss for the Night". Filming of the tape "Cool Guys" began in October 2014 in Atlanta and Decatur, Georgia. Los Angeles also became the venue.
