In 1950, Harvard graduate and budding poet John Brennan invited Dylan Thomas to New York for a series of poetry readings. The works of the guest are highly appreciated by critics, but his behavior and manners are notorious in his homeland, in England. Ignoring all the rumors, Brennan takes the poet's escort and entertainment upon himself. And immediately gets a lot of problems because of it.
