The story is about a ten-year-old boy, Savva, who lives in a small forest village. Once the village was protected from enemies by noble white wolves. But one day the wolves disappeared and the village was attacked by a gang of ferocious hyenas. Savva manages to escape into the forest, where he meets Anga - the last white wolf. Anga tells Savva about a powerful Wizard who lives on the mountain and can help Savva free his village. But, unfortunately, this mountain is surrounded by a huge army, led by the evil Mama JoZi - the three-headed monkey queen. Facing insurmountable difficulties, Savva and Anga begin their long and dangerous journey to the mountain. On the way, they are joined by other travelers: Pusik - a strange pink fluffy creature; Faffle is a cocky, French-like type who is actually a bewitched half-baron and forced to carry the Mosquito King on his shoulders; the princess of the Nanti swamp tribe and others. Everyone has their own personal reasons for going to the Wizard. On the way to their goal, the friends have to overcome many obstacles, learn terrible secrets and enter into battle with an army of monkeys and the treacherous Mama JoZi.
