The third film in the "Divergent" series. This is the first of two films based on the novel "Allegiant", which completes the trilogy by Veronica Roth. After the events of the previous parts, Tris goes with Faure beyond the wall that covers Chicago. For the first time, they will have to leave their families and hometown to find a solution to an important problem. But the world behind the wall turns out to be much more complicated than the heroes could have thought. Beatrice and Faure must decide who they can trust. Read More In 2013, it was announced that Allegiant, the final installment in the trilogy, would be released in March 2016. Then, according to the creators' plans, the film was supposed to complete the series. But in April 2014, the studio decided to split the novel into two pictures, "Divergent. Chapter 3: Devoted" and "Divergent. Chapter 4", like "Twilight" and "The Hunger Games". Robert Schwentke returns to the director's chair after working on the previous film Divergent: Chapter 2: Insurgent. Before that, the Stuttgart native rose to fame with "The Illusion of Flight" with Jodie Foster, "The Time Traveler's Wife" with Rachel McAdams and "Red: Real, Extreme, Audacious" with Bruce Willis. Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Ansel Elgort, Zoe Kravitz, Maggie Q, Naomi Watts, Miles Teller, Octavia Spencer and Keinan Lonsdale return to their roles in "Divergent: Chapter 3: Devoted". The last part of the series will be released worldwide in June 2017. Robert Schwentke is expected to be replaced by another director. Divergent: Chapter 3: Devoted began filming in May 2015 in Atlanta, Georgia, and wrapped in August. Another site was Lindale, also in Georgia.
