Read more For the director of "Somnia" Mike Flanagan, this is not the first experience in horror films. In 2013, his picture "Oculus" was released, which tells about a mystical mirror that drove people crazy. And in 2011 - "Absence", a less popular film, but also with elements of horror. In addition to Flanagan, Jeff Howard, who also worked on Oculus, took part in writing the script. The film "Somnia" will join the traditional horror fiction films, in which fantasy comes into contact with reality and leads to the fact that it is no longer possible to distinguish between them. Filming began in November 2013 in Fairhope, Alabama. And ended in December of the same year. Thomas Jane, who played Mark, is known for his roles in Frank Darabont's The Mist, Bloody Thursday, The Temptation with Antonio Banderas and Angelina Jolie, Under Suspicion, and others. Among his works, tapes of such genres as drama, action, thriller and horror are most often found. The boy who got the role of Cody, Jacob Tremblay, has already managed to appear in episodic roles in two series "Mr. Young" and "Motive", voice Blue in "Smurfs 2" and take part in a couple of other projects. The young actor has already scheduled filming for the next couple of years.
