But in February, it was reported that the tape will be released under the name "No Way Out" in September 2015. The release of the film's trailer was met with scandal in Cambodia, due to the use of upside-down writing on police shields in the video. The Ministry of Culture and Arts of the country banned "No Way Out" from screening. The director of the film department, Sin Changchaya, said that it was these inscriptions that caused such a reaction. He also reported that the ministry had asked the film producers to change these elements in the film, but they had not responded at the time of the decision. For Owen Wilson, who played Jack, this is the first dramatic role since the film "Behind enemy lines" in 2001. For 14 years, the actor participated exclusively in comedies and dubbing cartoons. The main character's wife was supposed to be played by Michelle Monaghan, but due to the fact that filming was postponed, she could not participate due to pregnancy. She was replaced by Lake Bell, known for her roles in "Once Upon a Time in Vegas", "Hand for a Million", "Be a Man" and others. During filming in Thailand, a fire broke out in a dilapidated building after they finished shooting an explosion scene there. Fortunately, no one was injured and the equipment was evacuated in time. For the director and screenwriter of "No Way Out" John Eric Dowdle, this is far from the first collaboration with the screenwriter and producer Drew Dowdle. Previously, they worked together on such films as "Films from Poughkeepsie", "Quarantine", "Quarantine 2: Terminal" and "Paris: City of the Dead".
