Vacation
Vacation
Following the example of his father, Rusty Griswold wants to unite the family with a joint trip to the theme park "Wally's World" - a favorite place for American families with attractions. The problem is that for this you need to cross the entire country, but our hero planned everything. And so, Rusty, his wife Debbie and two little brawlers go on an important journey aimed at strengthening family ties. But the more their car moves away from home, the more problematic situations arise on the way. Will this stop an exemplary family man from the rest he wanted to give to his loved ones? Read more "Vacation" as a franchise started in 1983, and then, after 2, 4, 8 and 27 years, other parts were released - "European Vacation", "Christmas Vacation", "Vegas Vacation" and "Holiday in Hell Hotel". The 2015 version began its journey in 2013, 30 years after the release of the first film. And even the release of "Vacation" coincides with the release of the original in 1983 - July 29. The only actors who have consistently appeared in each installment are Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo, who play the married couple. Ed Helms is the sixth actor to play Rusty Griswold. When he looks through a photo album at the beginning of the film, we can see photos from previous installments of the franchise. Before Helms was cast, Jason Sudeikis, Adam Sandler and Michael Rosenbaum were considered for the role. Interestingly, the 2015 "Vacation" is both a sequel (acknowledgment and reference to the previous parts), a remake (the plot and some scenes are the same or very similar to those that came before), and a reboot (a new film of an inactive franchise with a new set of actors). In this tape, for the first time, the children of the Griswolds are adults, as in the previous parts, new actors were taken every time, due to the fact that they were growing up. Before casting Skyler Gizondo and Steele Stebbins as the children of the crazy family, thousands of children auditioned across the US and Canada. When John Francis Daly and Jonathan M. Goldstein joined the project to write the script, they did not know that they would also direct the picture. This will be their next joint work as screenwriters after such films as "Insufferable Bosses", "Incredible Burt Wonderstone" and others. "Vacation" was mainly shot in and around Atlanta, Georgia.
