For about three years now, he has been receiving text messages containing predictions of the future from time to time on his phone. At the same time, the director Maksym Stetskov shared in one of the interviews that there were offers of cooperation from Russia. However, he rejected them right away, because the Russians always try to take the whole process under their control. Therefore, you cannot see Russian actors in the cast. The main work on the film took place in Kyiv and Chernihiv. Stetskov chose Chernihiv as a filming site for a reason, because it is his hometown. In addition, the creative team found suitable apartments there, which could not be done in Kyiv. Friends of the director and his main artist Oleksandr Gereles, who had previously played in the short film "The Old Dog" directed by Stetskov, acted as actors in "Deathly Living". The film was worked on for about two years, and the thriller itself became the fifth Ukrainian-made film to be released in 2015. Cinemas in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Odesa and Kharkiv bought the film for distribution. In addition, they immediately decided to promote the film to the Berlin Film Festival.
