Hotel Transylvania 2
The events of the second part of "Monsters on Vacation" take place seven years after the first film. After the wedding of Count Dracula's daughter Mavis and an ordinary guy Johnny, the couple has a beautiful boy - Dennis. His fifth birthday is approaching, but there are no signs of his mother's lineage: no fangs, no desire to drink blood. Grandfather is very worried about this. Count Dracula advises John and Mavis to go on vacation to friends in California, and leave the baby with him. As soon as the young leave, he gathers his entire pack of monsters to make the grandson a true heir to the terrible traditions. Read more The director of "Monsters on Vacation 2" Gennady Tartakovsky created a number of popular cartoon series in the 1990s and 2000s: "Dexter's Laboratory", "Cool Girls", "Samurai Jack" and others. Tartakovsky was nominated no fewer than twelve times for an Emmy, and eventually won the award in 2004 and 2005. Mel Brooks voiced Vlad, Mavis's grandfather and the Count's father. It is interesting that in 1995 the actor acted as the director of the comedy "Dracula: Dead and Satisfied" with Leslie Nielsen in the lead role. Johnny's parents, to whom the young couple went, were voiced by Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally. Everything else remained unchanged: Adam Sandler - Dracula, Selena Gomez - Mavis, Steve Buscemi - Wayne, etc. Some of Sandler's relatives and friends voiced cameo roles, including two young daughters, Sadie and Sunny. The film "Monsters on Vacation 2" with a budget of almost $51 million has already collected more than $80 million in the world since September. Work on the sequel by Gennady Tartakovsky began in September 2013, despite the fact that he was also busy with another project, a new adaptation of Papaya's adventures.
