The Last Confession" Victoria Trofymenko filled Scandinavian history with Ukrainian heroes, events and landscapes. She read "Bumblebee's Honey" while still a student at the theater institute and decided that the story should be adapted into a film. The way to filming the tape was difficult. In the beginning, it was necessary to obtain permission from the author himself, Torgni Lindgren. Then find financing. As a result, the entire preparation took several years. A Hutsul village was built especially for some episodes of the film "Brothers. The Last Confession". Although at the beginning the team had to face the misunderstanding and hostility of local residents. Viktoria Trofymenko invited Yevhen Gudzya, the soloist of the Gogol Bordello group, and Petr Mamonov to take part in the filming. But both refused. It was the first experience of working in a full-length movie for almost all the actors of the film. The role of old Voytko went to the artistic director of the Ternopil theater Oleg Moseychuk.
