Few people want to deal with a place where terrible things once happened. However, Evan's family does not have to choose, and they move into their new house, the fate of the former owners of which is covered by a terrible veil. Confirmation of evil is served by various paranormal phenomena, as if some ghost makes itself known. In the meantime, the boy gets to know Sam, who lives nearby, becoming friends with whom he tries to find out what happened in his new house. The discovery of a device that is supposed to bridge the gap between the world of the living and the dead leads the friends to dire consequences. Read more The director of the film, Mac Carter, for whom this film was, in fact, a full-length debut, worked in this genre for a reason. As a lover of horror films, he could not help but shoot something similar on this subject. Although after "Beast's Lair" was released, some viewers complained that there were too many clichés. The actor of the main role, Australian Harrison Gilbertson, had previously managed to shine in the adaptation of the popular video game "Need for Speed: Thirst for speed". Casting for the tape was done by John Papsidera, who previously worked with Christopher Nolan. It was announced in August 2012 that the horror film would be put into active development. Soon after that, namely in November of the same year, the team led by Mac Carter left for Utah. Filming started in this state. The script for "Beast's Lair" itself did not require any scenes in which there was snow. However, when it snowed during filming, it was decided to include it in the film. To advertise the project, in early 2013, QED International launched a viral site. He said that the case described by Andrew Barrera in the script is a very real event that was being investigated at the time.
