Trash
Trash
Few people can be as lucky as the heroes of this story. The lucky ones were three boys who live in a third world country and spend their time digging in the trash, and then doing something ignoble, which can be done by poor people who have nothing to lose. Their ordinary life changes when one of them finds a wallet in a dump. It would seem like an ordinary accessory, which can contain a different amount of money, but in reality it turned out that the find is worth much more than a couple of pieces of paper. This becomes known when announcements about the loss of a wallet appear around the city, which leads to dangerous and exciting adventures on the street. Read more The plot of this crime drama originally appeared as a story about a fourteen-year-old boy, Raphael, who lives in the nameless city of the British Andy Mulligan's novel. The book "Trash" was published in 2010, and after some time film producers became interested in it. It is worth noting Chris Tiquier in particular, who learned about the book during the Frankfurt Book Fair and after some time began to promote its plot in the form of a film script. The rights to transfer the novel to the screen were officially acquired in April 2012. PeaPie Films and Working Title Films ("Senna", "Race", "Inside I Dance", etc.) became the owners. Soon, the companies agreed with Richard Curtis and Stephen Daldry, so that the former took up the script, and the latter sat in the director's chair. By the beginning of July, the casting was filled with the main actors, such as Martin Sheen and Rooney Mara. And by the end of the same month, the "Tresha" film crew started work. The Brazilian city of Rio De Janeiro served as the venue. The boys who played the main children's roles became film debutantes. All of them come from Rio and are familiar with the slums from hearsay. For example, Rixon Teves, who played the role of Rafael, himself lived in the slums, the other guys did not live much better.
