And God had mercy, the little boy came to his senses, but he came not alone, but together with memories of Paradise. The child claims that he visited heaven, where he saw God, as well as people and events that he had no knowledge of before the coma. Baby Colton describes God, his horse and people who have long been gone... Todd Burpo must now accept a position that a man in his profession cannot avoid, but which shocked him. So the father tries to understand his son and step over himself and understand what has begun to affect the whole family, as well as the people around it.
