And six years later, she released her third full-length film. Lyubov Mulmenko and Nataliya Meshchaninova wrote the script based on the play by Oleksandr Volodin. A film was made based on it in 1979, directed by Pavlo Arsenov. The original film was called "Don't break up with your loved ones" and Iryna Alfyorova and Oleksandr Abdulov played the main roles in it. However, when creating the remake of "Another Year", which it is, in fact, Bychkova was guided by a "free" approach. That is, some things, due to the inconsistency and irrelevance of the problems of that time, were sharpened under our realities. So she focused more on the heroes than on the reflection of our modern problems, which, however, could not be done without either. The money for the production of the tape was allocated by the State Film Fund of the Russian Federation. The tape was shot at the film studio named after Gorky, and the process was managed by the heir of Volodin, who lives in the USA. One More Year won several awards, as the film was selected at the Rotterdam Film Festival and Kinotavr in 2014.
