First, during the release of the film at the international film festival in Cannes, it received as many as three awards: the Prize from the press, the France 4 Visionary Prize and the Distribution Support from the Gan Foundation. In addition to France, the film visited a number of other film festivals in Europe and beyond, for example in Toronto. Secondly, "Tribe" bought a record number of countries for our country. Therefore, in addition to the Ukrainian big screens, Slaboshpytsky's "Tribe" will visit cinemas in Canada, America, Iceland, Japan and a number of other countries. While filming his tape, the director conducted a kind of experiment, since not a single word was actually said out loud during the entire duration. In addition, it is difficult for a person who does not know sign languages to catch the whole point, unlike someone who can talk to or is a deaf and mute man. All actors are deaf and mute, including many quite ordinary people, non-professional actors. The director had the idea for the film a long time ago, but first he had to get money and patrons' trust after the release of his "Deafness" and "Nuclear Waste".
