This is the story of Sai the capuchin monkey. The kid grew up in captivity and until recently had no idea what life in the wild was like. Having survived a plane crash, Sai has to show all the survival instincts laid down by nature. He understands that this is his native home, but it is so alien and dangerous. Disoriented by the unknown expanses of the forest, Cy instead learns to find food and a roof over his head, something he has never done before. Together with the little hero, the viewer has to immerse himself in a world full of interesting adventures and dangers. Read more This documentary is based on the principle where a hidden camera observes an animal that has been specially placed in unfamiliar conditions. Thierry Ragobert, after shooting "The White Planet" in 2006, decided to return to the jungle he encountered while working on the TV series "New Star". Not only France, but also Brazil participated in the production of "Amazonia: Survival Guide". The goal of the creators of the documentary was an attempt, although not new, but interesting, to show the world of Amazonia through the eyes of its creature adapted to live in this area. Most of the other animals that appear in the frame of "Amazonia: Survival Guide" are actually representatives of special shelters for wild animals. They got there because of poachers, and in the end they help the viewer to get acquainted with the features of their natural habitat. The film crew worked on the film for about two years to achieve the most "natural" picture. So, in the end, we had to edit more than a hundred hours of material on film. The most dangerous thing for the boys was that in the region where the shooting was taking place, a lot of people died from falling coconuts. However, other dangers, such as poisonous snakes and insects, also haunted moviegoers and some even suffered from their bites.
