All except the British Jimmy, but it is not clear whether he can still be trusted. The videos were made in the same style - first-person action. In an interview, the director said that Timur Bekmambetov gave him the idea to make such a film. As a result, he became one of the producers of the tape. For Naishuller, the picture was his debut in a full-length movie. The role of Jimmy went to Sharlto Copley, Akana to Daniil Kozlovsky. Haley Bennett played Henry's wife. In addition, Serhiy Shnurov, Konstantin Khabenskyi, Tim Roth, Yevhen Bazhenov, Leonid Parfyonov, Kyrylo Serebrennikov, Andriy Dementiev and others are also involved in "Hardcore". Naishuller's wife, actress Dasha Charusha, also got a role in the film. The main character in the film is played by several people, including stuntmen, parkourers and the director himself. During post-production, the creators turned to crowdfunding for financial help. The premiere of "Hardcore" took place at the International Film Festival in Toronto. The film became one of the most popular at the festival. For the foreign market, it was renamed "Hardcore Henry".
