Friday night... Sounds very, very hopeful and sweet, but not for Megan. She was beaten at work and now she is not the face of a news show host on a well-known TV channel. Immediately, two friends come to the girl's aid, and they become the catalyst for amazing events, which will end only the next day. And all this happens precisely after a night with a little-known guy, when Megan learns that there is still a chance to become a famous presenter. Through the whole city, without documents, money and in heels, the heroine has to go through a desperate odyssey on the way to the office. Read more The producers of "Blondes on the Air" represented by Steven Kimmel, Gary Lucchesi and Tom Rosenberg have already worked together on several projects. True, their previous works had slightly different genres, although they were films of quite different directions. The director of the film himself, Steven Brill, often acts as an actor in movies. He really took the idea for the film from the ancient Greek epic about the adventures of Odysseus. The artist of the film, Perry Endelin Blake, initially did not want the character of Elizabeth Banks to be exactly yellow. However, the film crew decided to choose a dress of such a bright color. The designer was Ihal Azruil. For the scene where Megan runs down the road and the helicopter lands next to her, the entire track was specially blocked. It was Route 710 and the permit was obtained in part because of the SuperBowl game, which drew a lot of people and reduced the flow. Actually, the entire film was shot on the territory of Los Angeles. At the same time, the city was too "clean" for some scenes. Therefore, to reflect the characteristic features of the "Red Light" district, it was somewhat cluttered and an old sofa was also thrown in. The TV studio in the shot is the KCET studio in Burbank.
