Read more Filming of the tape began in February and ended already in March 2012, moving on to the final editing. The original title of "Auto Inspection" sounded like "Seven Days", but the title was later changed. The film is also translated as "Road Patrol", as it was done in Russia. The cities of Poland and the Czech Republic were used as filming locations. The film was financed by the Polish Film Institute. For Wojciech Smazhowski, "Auto Inspection" became quite a successful film, which took a good box office in the first month of distribution in Poland. The director's past works, such as "Wedding" (2004), "Bad House" (2009), "Rose" (2011), were also a great success. For each of these films, as well as in the general mass of his projects, Wojciech Smajowski writes the screenplay either himself or acts as one of the screenwriters. In many ways, the success came thanks to the completely realistic transmission of the everyday environment of Polish police officers. The tape "Auto Inspection" took part in the international film festival in Edinburgh and in a similar festival in Karlovy Vary.
