Read more After the broadcast at the Odesa Film Festival, where the premiere of the film was held, "Credence" caused a sensation among the audience. While Ukrainian director Valentyn Vasyanovych's debut film "Ordinary Business" received many positive reviews, this second film of his was an order of magnitude higher. The film was shot in a short period of time within the budget of one million dollars, and this amount is not so small. The director himself also acted as the screenwriter, but sharing this position with Iya Myslitska, the film's producer. Only three years passed from the very idea to the start of filming, which is quite a short time by many standards. Initially, the creators planned to shoot several films that would correspond to a separate side of the world. So "Credence" is responsible for the West. Trying to convey not only the types of culture of Western Ukraine, but also the color, the director later abandoned this idea. Despite the idea, in practice everything did not look quite natural. After the broadcast at the Odesa Film Festival, the tape "Credence" became the winner of one of the main awards. In the fall of 2013, the tragicomedy was shown as part of the "Gogolfest".
