When Thomas wakes up in the elevator, the only thing he remembers is his name. His memory is completely blank, but he is not alone. He is greeted by a group of teenagers who have learned to survive in the "Halyavina" - a huge open area surrounded by massive stone walls. Like Thomas, they don't know how or why they got here. They know only one thing: every 30 days a new boy appears from the elevator. For more than two years, the group has been trying to find a way out of the maze that surrounds their habitat, but now they are beginning to lose hope. They were waiting for Thomas, but the next day a girl appeared on the "Halyavina" - the first of those who had ever been here. However, her message looks even more amazing. Thomas may turn out to be far more important than he ever imagined. If only he could reveal the dark secrets hidden at the very bottom of his subconscious...
