After several failed attempts by John Hammond to create the attraction "Jurassic Park", his successor finally managed to finish what he started. On a small island near Costa Rica, there is a fully functioning park with real live dinosaurs. However, after ten years, the attraction began to bring less profit than at the beginning of its existence, and the owner of the park dares to take a drastic step. To attract visitors, he orders a group of scientists to create a new species of lizard, a dinosaur that has become the most dangerous creature on the planet. But Steven Spielberg, the creator of this universe, later still decided to continue creating the franchise. Then they wanted to start creating a thriller about prehistoric monsters in 2004, to release it on the screens in the summer of 2005. But the project stalled for ten years. One of the options for the name was the title "Jurassic Park 4: Extinction", and the main role, which went to Chris Pratt, could be played by Harrison Ford. But the actor refused, because he did not like the criticism of the tape "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" (2008). Chris Pratt was only happy to participate in the creation of the film, as he is a big fan of this universe. Despite the fact that Michael Giacchino was invited as the composer, the original theme from John Williams was used during the creation of the trailer, which was interpreted by Michael. The main filming began in April 2014, in Honolulu, but later the creative team had to visit other places. The last shooting days fell on August of the same year.
