After a failed experiment to create the perfect soldier, scientist Bruce Banner mutates, turning into the green Hulk monster when angry. Bruce is hiding from the US Army, who consider him their property. He hides in Brazilian favelas, constantly checking his pulse. One day he makes a mistake and General Ross follows him, sending Major Blonski's squad. The monster Hulk kills all the fighters except the commander, the bullets do not take him. The Blonskys inject a small dose of the drug that turned Bruce into a monster, and he risks another encounter with the Hulk and is injured, from which he soon recovers. Blonsky thinks this is not enough and forces Dr. Stearns to inject him with an even larger dose. Because of this, he turns into a monster, to neutralize which they send the captured Bruce.
