John Hammond, an American millionaire, is building an incredible attraction. Thanks to the money, as well as the efforts of geneticists, he created "Jurassic Park", where real dinosaurs will roam! As a test check, he invites his grandchildren and several scientists there. But the joy of a new scientific discovery and a trip through the park is overshadowed by the news that some dinosaurs have escaped from their cells, which poses a danger not only to the staff, but also to the guests. Read more Just as the shark, the heroine of Steven Spielberg's film "Jaws" (1975), caused a stir at one time, so did "Jurassic Park" stir up moviegoers in 1993. This time, they decided to return the film to the screens again, albeit in the currently popular 3D format. There is nothing wrong with this, especially for our audience, not everyone has watched all these cult films of past decades on the big screen. The only thing is that, unlike other countries, in Ukraine, unfortunately, as in the case of the first episode of "Star Wars", the film will not be broadcast in IMAX cinemas. Despite the fact that the shooting of the film took only a year, a lot of work was done. Already in those years, in addition to animated models, computer animation was also used. Not all prehistoric animals were graphic, but in most scenes with their participation, computer animators did a lot of work. The film is based on the book, and a limited number of comics were released as part of the advertising campaign. Filming took place on one of the Hawaiian islands. The main roles in the film were performed by several famous artists. These are Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum, who then appeared in one of the sequels of this franchise. After being released on the big screen, the movie "Jurassic Park" earned as many as three Oscars, one for effects and two for sound. The latter, by the way, was worked on by George Lucas' studio.
