On Valentine's Day, there is nothing better than a stunning romantic comedy from director Adam Brooks, creator of the inimitable "Bridget Jones", which audiences love so much. On the screen are spicy details of the amorous adventures of an unsuccessful political consultant who, on the eve of a divorce, analyzes the experience of a former relationship. How to save love if there are so many temptations around?! Read more After the colossal success of the comedy "The Girl of My Nightmares", everyone said in one voice: we want more such cute, simple and funny pictures. And so, before we had time to forget the "disaster" of Bridget Jones, Adam Brooks prepared a real gift for St. Valentine's Day - an amazing romantic comedy! Will Hayes, a 30-year-old father (Ryan Reynolds), is on the verge of divorce. His 10-year-old daughter Maya (Abigail Breslin) keeps asking her father about life before the wedding. Maya wants to know everything about how her parents met and fell in love. Will's story begins in 1992, when he, a young politician with eyes shining with enthusiasm, moves from Wisconsin to New York to work in the presidential election campaign. The father tells Maya about his past as a young idealist, how he learned all the pros and cons of big city politics, as well as the history of romantic relationships with three completely different women. Will told his daughter a softer and more romantic story than the one that actually happened. In addition, he changes the names of all women. So, by the end of the story, Maya will have to guess which of the women her father married after all. Maybe it's his student love and reliable neighbor Emily (Elizabeth Banks)? Or maybe he chose an old and faithful friend April (Isla Fisher)? Or her mother - the free-spirited and ambitious journalist Summer (Rachel Wise)? As Maya pieces together the puzzle of her father's romantic story, she begins to understand that love is not as simple and easy as it is made out to be. And as the story progresses, Maya helps her father understand that it's never too late to return and find your happiness.
