Pather Panchali

A story about the daily struggle for survival and the gradual decline of a poor family living in a Bengali village. The father, an aspiring writer, goes to the city to earn money, leaving his wife to take care of the children and the old aunt. Through the onslaught of constant attacks from neighbors, poverty and the need to find food, the viewer is shown the true beauty of human life, family traditions and love for nature.
