Lions for Lambs

The film, which is characterized by a multi-character composition, tells about the fate of Americans belonging to different social strata and involved to varying degrees in America's fight against terrorism: Tom Cruise plays a senator trying to sell the latest global strategy to fight terrorism to a television journalist (Meryl Streep); an idealistic university professor (Robert Redford) tries to convince the most promising of his students to change his life; Michael Peña and Derek Luke play young men who take the most direct part in the fight against terrorism in the snowy mountains of Afghanistan.
