After receiving news of Detective Carrey's murder, two experienced FBI agents, Agent Strahm and Agent Perez, arrive at the police station to help old Detective Hoffman analyze Saw's latest gruesome game and put all the pieces of the puzzle together. However, when Captain Rigg, the last police officer untouched by the saw, is kidnapped and drawn into the maniac's terrifying game, the officer has only ninety minutes to uncover a series of interconnected traps...or face their merciless consequences.
