The story of a trader who is satisfied with himself and life, who meets a successful but very annoying New York businessman who is disappointed in life. He tries to show the main character and his bride all the horrors of this treacherous world, but the result is just the opposite - the entrepreneur himself turns out to be the one who learned life from the most unpleasant side.
