A bartender in a posh hotel, Jean often takes advantage of the situation: charmed by a client named Irene, who mistakes him for a millionaire, he spends the night with her. The same thing happens a year later, but his deception is revealed, and the offended Irene disappears in the direction of the Blue Shore. Only Jean, as it turned out, has much more serious feelings for Irene, and, abandoning everything, he goes after her. But in order to become closer to Irene, he has to accept her methods, and here he is already a "companion" in an expensive hotel on the sea...
