The filming of the film "Ghost Racer" took place for two years in Melbourne and several other Australian cities, and then the crew moved to Los Angeles. Special effects for the film were created by a team of the best specialists specializing in animation and visualization. The main role in the film went to Nicolas Cage ("Kidna in 60 seconds", "Treasure of the nation", "Adaptation"), who has been fascinated by the story of the ghost racer Blaze for many years and himself had a hand in the script of the film. The role of Roxanne was played by Eva Mendes ("The Hitch Method: Filming Rules"), and Mephistopheles was played by Peter Fonda ("Double Life").
