A film combining elements of drama and biographical documentary. "My Nicephorus" is based on real events the story of the last 8 years of the life of the artist Nicephorus, who was counted among the five most famous primitivists in the world. Almost all his life, Nicephorus suffered from contempt, misunderstanding and ridicule. In his hometown of Krynytsia, he was considered crazy, shunned and mocked. In 1960, fate brought him together with the young artist Marian Vlosinsky, who at first disowned him as an eccentric, but later, getting to know Nicephorus better, discovered his inner giftedness, the incredible power of his works, his detachment from the material world and his sacrificial service to art. Vlosinski abandons his own artistic ambitions, and the meaning of his life becomes caring for a brilliant artist. After seven years, the first retrospective exhibition of Nikifor's works takes place in the most prestigious Warsaw gallery "Zachenta", which at the same time becomes the day of his great triumph.
