In search of a home, a funny bear from Peru moves to London. And where else, if only there you can, for example, become a real gentleman. All his papers are a "Please look after this bear. Thank you" tag and a funny red hat. Already at Paddington station, he is lucky enough to meet the Brown family, who were immediately won over by the talking bear. It would seem that he found those with whom he will be good, but it was not here! At first, the head of the family resisted this Milyaga, and then a crazy taxidermist opened a hunt for him! But there is no evil without good, because the new family will not leave their shaggy friend in trouble. Read more Paddington Bear appears on the big screen for the first time, but he is not used to being the hero of the blue screen. He is the hero of two animated series called "The Adventures of Paddington Bear" and "The New Adventures of Paddington Bear", which have a very good rating on movie sites. The very story of the abandoned teddy bear at Paddington Station is real. Its direct participant was Michael Bond, whose find eventually turned into a series of books. He, the author of the adventures of the hairy hero, can be seen in the film as a cameo at a train station. The idea of creating a film was born in 2007 and even found its producer (David Heyman) and screenwriter (Hamish McCall). Despite several years of attempts to advance the plot to the screens, they ended up staying at the wheel. The project "hung" until 2013, when it was decided to finally film the favorite of children's books. The voice of the bear was to be given by Colin Firth, but over time the actor dropped out. In the end, the bear speaks in the voice of Ben Whishaw. When Nicole Kidman was approved for the role of the villain Millicent, she took the job very seriously. She purposefully learned to throw knives, just like her on-screen prototype. True, these scenes were heavily edited as a manifestation of cruelty, which is not entirely acceptable in children's films. Shot together with the English studio and the French company Studio Canal, for the latter the film became the most expensive project for the entire time of their existence.
