Five taxi driver stories, sad and comedic, that happened in one night in five megacities of the world are set aside, as if spied on from space. Each has its own special theme, specific to the place of action. So, what is a career, is found out in the heart of the American dream, Los Angeles. The meeting of the Old World with the New takes place, of course, in the raging cauldron of New York. Vision and blindness are best known in the capital of world beauty, Paris, and questions of life and death - in the eternal city of Rome. And, finally, the theme of human neglect in this world is nowhere more convincing than in the snowy expanses of Helsinki.
