Bad Santa
Bad Santa
Willie T. Stokes (Billy Bob Thornton) is a tired and grumpy Santa who works in one of the departments of a huge store. In fact, under the red fur coat of the good old man, a safe-cracker is hiding. And for him, Christmas is the only chance in the year to get a huge jackpot. Wily waits for the moment when all the customers have gone home, and together with his resourceful partner - the dwarf elf Marcus (Tony Cox), he breaks into the store's safe and escapes with his festive loot. But this season, Santa and his Elf find that the collection of their annual "harvest" is threatened by obstacles in the form of a nagging manager (John Ritter), a shrewd detective (Bernie Mack), and a sexy fan of Santa (Lauren Graham). But the most annoying was the 8-year-old loser (Brett Kelly), who believes that Wily, a little drunk and abusive, is the real Santa he was looking for... The movie "Bad Santa" is a Christmas comedy unlike any other. The story of two swindlers who broke into the houses of decent citizens on the eve of Christmas under the guise of Santa Claus and his elf turns the usual idea of a Christmas comedy upside down. Instead of giving good mood and gifts to those around them, they, taking advantage of the festive trust, engaged in banal theft. And everything would have been fine with them, if an eight-year-old kid had not met on their way, who reminded them of the true meaning of Christmas.
