Photographer Jeff Jeffries, who broke his leg and is therefore forced to stick out at home, amuses himself by spying on the daily life of the yard through binoculars. Noticing the suspicious behavior of a neighbor, he comes to the firm conviction that he killed his wife. Being immobile himself, Jeff resorts to the help of Lisa, a beautiful blonde who works as a model in a fashion house. But she is passionately in love with him and therefore agrees to perform dangerous "footwork".
