It's Thanksgiving and retired intelligence colonel Frank Slade decides to celebrate the holiday by "treating" himself with a trip to New York. Frank wants to spend his last "crown exit" in the highest category: an elegant hotel, a chic limousine, expensive booze and women of stunning beauty. There are only two problems. First: Frank is blind. And the second: the colonel's relatives decide to hire a supervisor, a student of a prestigious college named Charlie Simms, for a small sum. The last thing Colonel Slade needed on the trip was "green" young man Charlie. But it so happened that the journey of these two people, unlike each other, changed their lives forever.
