Once, having committed a murder, Alex goes to prison. Being a prisoner, Alex begins to worry about his own mental state - prison bonds become unbearable for him. That is why the boy agrees to take part in medical experiments kindly offered by the government. The treatment consists in the fact that doctors try to develop in a person (criminal in particular) a conditioned reflex to sex and violence. Thus, just at the thought of sex or violence, Alexa was struck with a powerful attack of nausea. The boy experienced the same feelings when he heard Beethoven's favorite 9th symphony.
