The Passion of the Christ

The film opens with a scene in the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus went to pray after the Last Supper. During prayer, Christ does not succumb to the devil's temptations. There he is betrayed by Judas Iscariot, after which Jesus is arrested and taken back to Jerusalem. In Jerusalem, Christ appears before the Pharisees, who accuse him of blasphemy and sentence him to death.
