Tokyo, night, a fashionable bar of an expensive hotel ... Here, escaping from insomnia, two Americans meet: television actor Bob Harris and a pretty young woman, Charlotte. Having met, they go on a trip to the Japanese capital together. During their many-hour walk, Bob and Charlotte get into funny stories and unexpected vicissitudes, getting to know the locals. The life of the Eastern world opens up to Americans with bright and unfamiliar aspects, helps to discover in oneself faith in amazing human possibilities. And random meetings become very necessary and important for understanding life.
