A group of "green" extremists infiltrates a primate research center and releases a monkey infected with a virus of uncontrollable aggression from a secret scientific laboratory. The deadly virus, transmitted through the blood in a matter of seconds, leads to instant infection and, in contact with any living creature, turns it into a bloodthirsty monster. After 4 weeks, the whole of England is covered by a terrible epidemic: many people have evacuated, others are looking for safe places, hoping to escape.
