After the invasion, the aliens left the planet in ruins. Six months later, a few people from those who survived united outside the big cities. Every day they fight for their existence. But in addition to this, humanity is trying to win back its lands and understand the reason for such cruel treatment of aliens. In the center of the story is Tom Mason, a former teacher at Boston University. His son was captured by aliens.
