Hong Kong, 1962. Two married couples, Mr. Chou and his wife and Ms. Su and her husband, live in neighboring apartments at the same time. While their partners are away at work or on foreign trips, Chou and Su spend a lot of time alone and talk to each other like ordinary neighbors. Everything changes when they find out that their partners are lovers. Chow and Su try to understand how this romance started and gradually grow closer, but they don't want to give free rein to their feelings...
