Dr. Bruce Banner (a scientist working on the invention of a new bomb) was exposed to gamma rays and turned into the Hulk - a creature of incredible physical strength, which in a state of rage becomes a huge green monster. He is pursued by the military under the leadership of General Ross, he has to run across the country. Eventually, he develops a love affair with the general's daughter, Betty.
