Big daddy

Thirty-two-year-old Sonny Koufax, a law school graduate, lives carefree in his nice apartment in Manhattan and does not want to grow up. He doesn't really want to work either, and successfully lives off the money he earned earlier. Friends get married, have children. They have new concerns, new responsibilities. Life is changing, and Sonny doesn't want to understand it. Even the limitless patience of his girlfriend comes to an end: she leaves, unable to bear his lack of independence any longer. Sonny understands: the time has come for decisive action. And... adopts a five-year-old boy, Julian.
